About Us

Welcome to Soulless German Shepherds, a small, family-operated German Shepherd breeding program built around our love and respect for the breed.

We aren't a large kennel, and we don't want to be. Our goal has never been to produce as many puppies as possible. We intentionally keep our program small, generally producing no more than one litter per year, so we can put the time, attention, and care into every dog and every puppy that leaves our home.

Our dogs are part of our family first. Our puppies are raised inside our home around our children and exposed to the everyday sights, sounds, activity, and experiences of family life from an early age. We want them growing up confident, socialized, intelligent, and ready to become part of their new family.

Soulless German Shepherds really began after a motorcycle accident that nearly took my life. That experience changed the way I looked at time, family, and the things that mattered most to me. I wanted to spend more time with my children, make memories with them, and build something our entire family could be involved in. Our dogs became an even bigger part of that life, and eventually that passion grew into the breeding program we have today.

Our breeding program is being built around quality German bloodlines with both working-line and show-line influence.

Our male is a West German Working Line German Shepherd, bringing the intelligence, drive, confidence, trainability, structure, and working ability that the German Shepherd was originally developed for.

Our current breeding female comes from German Show Line bloodlines, bringing beautiful traditional German Shepherd structure, movement, temperament, and the strong family-oriented qualities we want in our puppies.

As we continue developing the program, we have also added a new solid-black West German Working Line female, sourced from established German breeders. She represents another step toward the long-term direction of our program—strengthening our working-line genetics while continuing to produce dogs with excellent temperament, health, intelligence, structure, and versatility.

By combining carefully selected working and show-line genetics, our goal is not to chase a certain color or simply produce puppies. We want to preserve the traits that made us fall in love with the German Shepherd in the first place.

Our focus is on producing healthy, intelligent, loyal German Shepherds with stable temperaments and the versatility the breed is known for. We want dogs capable of being incredible family companions while still maintaining the drive, confidence, trainability, and protective instincts that make the German Shepherd such an exceptional working breed.

Our long-term goal is to continue improving our program generation after generation and produce dogs capable of succeeding in everything from active family homes and personal protection to advanced working roles, including potentially law enforcement and military work.

We believe a quality German Shepherd should be more than a good-looking dog. It should have the mind, temperament, structure, confidence, loyalty, and working ability to represent the breed the way it was intended.

We also believe our responsibility doesn't end when a puppy leaves our home. We want our owners to know they can contact us with questions throughout their dog's life. We would much rather receive a phone call years later than ever see one of our dogs unnecessarily end up in a shelter.

At Soulless German Shepherds, we're not trying to produce the most German Shepherds.

We're trying to produce German Shepherds we're proud to put our name behind.
